The DSPs provide the best and efficient support that matches the habilitation goals of each individual. Furthermore, the support provided is outcome-based as specified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and in conformity with all applicable State and Federal regulations.

In Home and Community Support (IHCS)

AR provides IHCS in both individual home and community setting. This service
and support aim to assist the individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving
the skills necessary to succeed in the community, to live more independently, and
to participate in meaningful community activities. Community settings are
inclusive rather than segregated, hence, the individuals are supported to explore
more options.

Companion

AR offers a non-medical companion service, socialization and basic supervision to
ensure the individual’s safety and well-being. While providing the companion
service, staff may provide light housekeeping tasks, which are secondary to the care and supervision of the individual. Our staff assist in increasing the individual’s participation more meaningfully in both home and community settings.

Respite

AR offers in-home respite and out-of-home respite services. Our respite services
are provided on a short-term basis. The services provide a continuum of care that
offers flexibility for families while ensuring their needs are met. For example,
families are able to travel on vacation or take a break while AR fills in the gap.

Behavioral Support

AR provides behavior support services that are achieved through specialized behavioral interventions. The goal of such interventions is to assist, encourage, and redirect individuals towards increasing adaptive behaviors. In addition, challenging behaviors are modified so the individual is able to enjoy inclusion in his/her home and community. Our experienced and well trained staff are working relentlessly to ensure individuals improve in their challenging behaviors so they can live a meaningful life.
